Our subscription clients pay $10 an hour less than our normal hourly rate for 3 work hours each quarter. They also don't pay for research or "sourcing" time (trips to find materials). They can roll over up to 3 hours per quarter and accrue up to 6 hours per year. The hours are use-it-or-lose-it at the end of the calendar year. Unsure of what a skilled handyman can do in 3 hours? Here are some suggestions:
- Change a leaky faucet
- Re-caulk standard bathroom (w/out serious mold, two sinks, shower, bathtub, toilet). This includes checking for toilet and faucet leaks and recommendations for repairs
- Pressure wash a porch, deck or fence, sidewalk, and concrete driveway (under 30’). Also, check the home and foundation exterior for mold, and provide a free estimate for power washing.
- Assemble a flat-pack piece of furniture from IKEA or similar store
- Clean gutters on the first story of a house
- Replace a light fixture (ceiling height 12’ or less)
- Replace cabinet hardware in a kitchen or up to 3 bathrooms
